Our Growth team have been reappointed by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to continue supporting the delivery of many more new homes in the Government’s Housing Zones.
In the run up to the March 2015 Budget, LP joined the HCA’s evaluation process examining a long list of would-be Housing Zones and provided an independent commercial assessment of potential sites.
20 new Housing Zones were subsequently announced which are tasked with the delivery of 34,000 new build homes right across the UK. This latest commission for LP, will see the Growth team joining forces with the HCA’s senior executives to undertake a forensic delivery test which probes how the pace of building could be accelerated zone by zone. The output will be a tailored package of support, both financial and skills. An integral part of the commission will be to generate new programmes and policies not currently on the table and ready for inclusion in the next Spending Review.
