Local Partnerships is an in-house public sector consultancy jointly owned by the LGA, HM Treasury and Welsh Government. We work solely for central government departments, the Welsh Government, councils and combined authorities.

Local Partnerships is dedicated exclusively to supporting the public sector, helping it thrive in the face of rising service demands and shrinking budgets. We provide expert advice, practical resources, and delivery support for projects and programs, ensuring public sector organisations achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.

Our Approach

We work collaboratively and impartially with all levels of government—central, local, regional, and devolved administrations. Our tools, such as the Greenhouse Gas Accounting Tool, Climate Adaptation Toolkit, and Climate Impact Report, empower organisations to address complex challenges and achieve meaningful results.
