We’ve Launched – Wales Annual Impact Report 2025

Local Partnerships has published its Wales Impact Report 2025, showing how we are delivering clear value for Wales by helping turn the Welsh Government’s priorities into practical outcomes.

As an inhouse public sector delivery partner, we provide the capability, capacity and assurance that ensure national priorities become realworld delivery as Wales enters a period of political change.

Chair of the Local Partnerships Board, Keith Fraser, notes in his foreword:

In a time of political change in Wales, the need for trusted expertise and practical delivery has never been greater. Local Partnerships exists to provide exactly that: impartial expertise, grounded in public service, focused on outcomes.

Driving delivery on Welsh Government priorities

The report highlights major progress across the Programme for Government, including:

  • stronger public services: improving governance, commercial capability and programme management to strengthen resilience and support transformation across councils and national programmes
  • waste reform: providing expert advice to Welsh Government and councils to implement major waste and recycling reforms
  • safer communities: supporting the establishment of Building Safety Authorities and improving emergency preparedness across Wales
  • protecting natural resources and rural economies: shaping the Sustainable Farming Scheme and progressing work towards a new National Park
