Welsh Government Energy Service celebrates accelerated progress to net zero Wales in new report

As a strategic delivery partner of the Energy Service, Local Partnerships has been proud to provide commercial and project support across the public and community sectors to unlock funding and accelerate delivery.
Key highlights from this year’s report include:
£107.7m invested in clean energy and energy efficiency
5,656 tonnes CO₂e saved from fleet decarbonisation alone
28.59MW of renewable generation capacity consented
over 1.1 million tonnes CO₂e projected lifetime savings
support delivered to over 300+ public and community organisations
Last week, our Director Carwyn Davies joined the Deputy First Minister at Ysgol Brynhyfryd in Denbighshire, to see how Welsh Government support has helped install heat pumps and solar panels at the school. This is one the many real world examples where Energy Service projects are creating positive change across Wales.
