CHoSS Spring Webinar Series

5 March – 23 April 2026

Councils across England are increasing their ambition to deliver social and affordable homes. Turning that ambition into sustained, confident delivery requires strong governance, financial clarity, workforce capacity, programme discipline and effective communication.

The CHoSS Spring Webinar Series brings together sector insight, technical expertise and peer experience to explore the practical enablers of successful council-led housebuilding.

Across March and April, the programme will:

  • Examine structural and operational barriers to delivery
  • Strengthen organisational and workforce readiness
  • Build financial and viability confidence
  • Support effective Housing Revenue Account (HRA) governance
  • Explore how sustainability can be embedded without undermining pace or viability
  • Improve how councils communicate about new homes
