Public Sector Retrofit Forum Meeting : RE:FIT 5
Workplaces, schools, hospitals, as well as homes are at the heart of supporting the UK’s green economic growth. Improving the carbon and energy performance of the public sector estate therefore has a major role to play in supporting the UK’s green economic growth. Making public buildings energy efficient and improving their carbon performance will ensure value for money, keep energy related expenditure as low as possible, and minimise carbon emissions.
The improvement of energy efficiency of domestic and non-domestic properties across the UK to support and complement the reduction of heating related emissions is key to delivering net zero objectives. Retrofitting the public estate with more energy efficient infrastructure has a key role to play.
The RE:FIT framework has delivered significant improvements in energy efficiency and general performance nationwide. The new RE:FIT 5 National Carbon and Energy Performance Contracting Framework offers significant improvements including a more robust facilitation of off-balance sheet funding for capital projects to help address affordability constraints.
Join us at 1.30 on Tuesday the 11th of November to hear from Asset Plus, one of the service providers appointed to the framework, on the delivery of high quality projects through the framework.”
