This page contains a set of tools and templates designed to help councils navigate the requirements of effective contract management.

The tools have been developed as part of the Contract Management Pioneer Programme (CMPP), supported by the Government Commercial Agency, to help councils strengthen and improve their contract management practices.

The tools draw on the experience, insight and best practice of local authorities involved in the programme, and designed to be adapted by councils to suit their own requirements or integrate the content into their existing systems and IT programmes.

The tools are for contract or project managers, created in response to requests from council or repurposed from our master set of tools, templates and guidance found here: CMPP – Contract Management Pioneer Programme – Local Partnerships
