Local Partnerships and the Local Government Association’s (LGA)Council Housebuilding Support Service (CHoSS), funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) as part of the government’s ambition to build 1.5 million homes, are hosting a webinar to share what we’re hearing from councils and how we can help them explore, develop or progress their approach to housebuilding.
Drawing on our early engagement with councils, we’ll explore the most common challenges and the practical support available to you through CHoSS to build confidence, capability and capacity.

CHoSS is open to all councils (Housing Revenue Account and non-Housing Revenue Account) including those exploring new delivery or stocking options. Support can cover areas such as HRAs and business planning, delivery models, governance, pipeline development, organisational readiness and workforce needs. We will also draw on local practice to illustrate how different councils are approaching similar issues.
