Shah Faisal joined the Local Partnerships team in December 2022.

Shah is an environmental management specialist with over 15 years’ experience in public sector waste and resource management, high value long-term contracts procurement, mobilisation and management, local strategy development and implementation.

Having a master’s degree in environmental management, and progressing his career in a local authority environment, Shah has developed business cases for local authority renewable energy projects, lead on planning and permitting applications and technical feasibility work. Shah has developed successful funding applications and completed due-diligence on funding applications with government appointed agencies for successful funding approval and monitoring.

As a project manager, Shah has managed infrastructure delivery projects including a biological treatment plant, former industrial site restoration and construction of a solar farm on a closed landfill site.

Shah specialises in options appraisals, strategy development and implementation, planning and environmental compliance, land restoration, turnkey project management and managing waste and infrastructure delivery and service contracts.
