Making the case for project success: keep it green!
Our new survey aims to find out what more is needed to support the drafting and development of business cases for local energy projects.
The HMT Green Book has been the gold standard to follow for drafting public sector business cases since it was first published in the 1970s. Many people are aware of the 5-case model, but few are experts in applying it effectively. Together, Net Zero Go and Local Partnerships have produced a series of business case templates, specifically for use by local authorities planning local energy projects.
To ensure the templates are as useful as possible, and to help us create further support and guidance that will improve and enhance your experience of writing business cases, we are seeking the views of those involved in this process. We want you to tell us what you find most challenging about the process, what elements are particularly difficult, and where you require further support. Please take 15 minutes out of your day to complete this short survey.
Thanks in advance – your input is extremely valuable, and will contribute to the creation of further guidance available for local authorities on this important subject.
