Nicola Kneale
Nicola Kneale is a Director in the LGR & Transformation, drawing on a wealth of experience across a range of key functions.
With a long and varied public sector background, Nicola’s expertise include strategy development, risk management, change and transformation, good governance, procurement and contract management… to name but a few.
Supporting clients with high-quality insight to give them an edge and enable continuous improvement so that they can deliver the best possible outcomes for their customers is of paramount importance to Nicola.
Having joined Local Partnerships in 2023, Nicola has contributed to the Ynni Cymru programme at Local Partnerships, drawing on her experience in managing grant programmes and forming effective partnerships to support the deployment of local energy systems across Wales.
With over 20 years of experience working in the Welsh public sector, particularly in strategic departments and partnerships, Nicola brings deep knowledge of how to drive meaningful, sustainable change. She is also a proficient Welsh learner.
Nicola’s core skills include collaboration, problem solving, facilitation, communication and team building. She is committed to providing high-quality support and capacity to clients, enabling them to deliver exceptional services by viewing Local Partnerships as an integrated – though non-permanent – part of their team. Nicola is also keen to leave a legacy with clients, providing advice and imparting skills as she works alongside them.
Nicola is a qualified workplace coach (ILM 5) with a passion for organisational development, and has recently gained a Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma accreditation.
