Expert support for developing robust heat decarbonisation plans
With funding for the Low Carbon Skills Fund ending in 2025/26, Local Partnerships’ expert team is on hand to help you develop robust Heat Decarbonisation Plans.
We have been informed by government that there will be no funding for the Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF) in financial year 2025/26. The LCSF has played a vital role in supporting public sector organisations by providing grants to engage specialist and expert advice, and skills needed to create robust Heat Decarbonisation Plans (HDPs).
These have supported the preparation of heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects and have also served as a blueprint for public sector organisations applying for Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS).
Local Partnerships has a dedicated team committed to supporting public sector organisations throughout the entire heat decarbonisation planning and delivery process. This includes assistance with the development of strategic-level heat decarbonisation plans, as well as the provision of tailored strategic and technical guidance on subsequent steps.
We would encourage organisations with priority buildings that do not yet have HDPs in place to get in touch with our team as we have capacity to complete LCSF activities to support a PSDS application in the autumn. We would also be pleased to provide further information on the support available and how we can assist in progressing your decarbonisation objectives and prepare for any future PSDS funding rounds to help decarbonise your buildings.
