Setting up simple renewable energy export agreements: Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) and Utility Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
Energy export agreements can help you unlock revenue from surplus renewable electricity.
If you have renewable electricity generating assets supplying your building or site, there may be times when you are generating more electricity than you are using. If you have an export agreement in place (such as SEG or a Utility PPA) you will be compensated for each unit of electricity you send to the grid. If you don’t have this in place, it could be costing you ££££s per year in lost revenue.
