Expiration of Re:fit 4, the energy performance contracting framework
Last week saw the expiration of the current Re:fit 4 energy performance contracting framework, which Local Partnerships have co-owned with the Greater London Authority (GLA) since 2016.
Since 2016, across the UK, Re:fit has:
✔ Avoided/saved 61,470 tonnes of CO2 emissions
✔ Achieved £19.77m in annual energy cost savings
✔ Delivered £471.96m in capital investment.
This is a great achievement! Congratulations to Anthony Lawson, Edward Barlow, Gina Barsan and Huw Russell from our Climate team for all their hard work with Re:fit 4.
The GLA is re-procuring a successor framework for Re:fit 5 with support from Local Partnerships’ Anthony Lawson. This will enable a closer working relationship with the GLA and London authorities across the energy sector. It also allows Local Partnerships to continue to support Re:fit 5 projects outside London, combined with advising and supporting clients to utilise other frameworks. The GLA aims to launch the new framework in the autumn.
We’ll be updating our website soon with more details.
