Celebrating excellence at the Civil Service World Awards

Local Partnerships was delighted to attend the Civil Service World Awards, an inspiring evening dedicated to recognising the outstanding achievements across the civil service. The event showcased the innovation, dedication, and impact of programmes that make a real difference to communities and citizens.

Programme of the Year: Prisoners Building Homes

One of the evening’s highlights was seeing Prisoners Building Homes (PBH) win Programme of the Year. This transformative initiative creates a pathway from prison to skilled employment, reducing reoffending while addressing urgent housing needs. Local Partnerships is proud to have supported PBH’s governance and strategy, helping to ensure its success and sustainability.

Delivering for Citizens Award

We were equally thrilled to support the Delivering for Citizens Award, which was won by the Department of Health and Social Care AI Diagnostic Fund Programme. This innovative programme demonstrates how technology can improve healthcare outcomes and deliver tangible benefits for citizens. Congratulations to such a well-deserving team.

Our Role

Local Partnerships exists to be the bridge between central government policy and local delivery. We are proud to work alongside partners to turn ambitious ideas into practical solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities.

Congratulations again to all the nominees, finalists and winners who exemplify the very best of public service.
