Andrew Gore
Andrew Gore joined Local Partnerships in June 2023.
Andrew is Head of Zero Waste, supporting Welsh Government programmes and local authorities in improving their waste and recycling services.
Andrew has 17 years of experience in Local Government. During this time, he managed the waste service for South Gloucestershire Council and their PFI waste management contract. He has a track record of successfully delivering waste infrastructure and implementing large-scale service changes. These initiatives have had a transformative impact on waste and recycling frontline services. He has also has had responsibilities for Street Cleansing services and a closed landfill site.
Andrew enjoys helping local authorities seek out improvements to their services through a collaborative approach.
He has project management qualifications and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM).
