Jo Douglass

Jo Douglass joined Local Partnership in February 2025 as the Commercial and Strategy Manager

This is a new role working on a series of commercial and strategic projects across the organisation. Contributing to the strategic relationship management planning and the on-going development of Local Partnerships long term strategy and organisational growth.

Jo brings over 20 years of experience in successful programme and project management across public and private sectors. A Prince2 Practitioner and a full member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM), she excels at building robust business cases and leading cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals. She is skilled in strategic relationship management and fostering strong stakeholder partnerships.

Her career includes experience as a Risk Manager for a global financial services organisation, working in London, Ireland, and America. She then transitioned to local government, holding roles such as Team Leader of Economic and Business Development at Denbighshire County Council, LEADER Programme Manager at Cheshire West and Cheshire and Lead Project Manager at Denbighshire County Council, where she managed a team delivering complex change programmes.

Holding a joint degree in Economics and Geography from Keele University and is committed to continuous professional development and applying best practices. Jo is a fluent Welsh speaker.
