We have updated our free to use Business Process Mapping (BPM) toolkit for councils to map and improve their procurement and contract management process.
The BPM toolkit gives contracting authorities everything they need to conduct their own mapping process, covering the whole commissioning lifecycle over two days.
The updated toolkit now includes mapping of contract management, with the additional elements tested through working with local authorities. Many thanks to Bradford, Derbyshire, Slough, Harrow, North Yorkshire, and the Manchester Combined Authority for your help with this.
The updates have been made to support councils to make improvements to their current process, including meeting the requirements of the new Procurement Act.
The BPM toolkit helped the commercial service develop its contract management framework and has fostered a culture of collaboration and improvement across all services within the council.
