Local Partnerships was commissioned by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) via the five Regional Energy Hubs to produce this handbook to provide practical advice to local authorities in England.
The handbook brings existing resources together in one place and gives a suggested order in which to work through the material.
This second edition as of July 2023 reflects the social and economic impact of the current UK cost of living crisis, including significant increases in energy costs, and highlights recent policy and funding initiatives, reports and case studies.
