Jon Rattenbury

Jon Rattenbury joined Local Partnerships in May 2024. Jon is responsible for delivering a range of services across climate work.

Since joining, Jon has provided advice and support to local authorities and Government to develop heat networks, including zoning, understanding local green finance options, Local Area Energy Plan implementation, growing provision for local clean energy skills and production of local solar strategies.

Jon has over 20 years experience in the environment and energy sector, most recently setting up and leading the South West Net Zero Hub, helping local authorities to develop a range of renewables, heat, green hydrogen, local area energy planning, building decarbonisation, housing retrofit and community energy project and grants.

At the Energy Saving Trust Jon delivered a range of support, including a large social housing retrofit and supply chain development programme and projects to develop green mortgages, make better use of EPC data and development of a city wide energy modelling tool.

At the Environment Agency Jon worked on a range of initiatives across the waste, resource efficiency and climate services.

Jon is a Full Member of the Association for Project Management.
