Louise Cowan

Louise Cowan joined Local Partnerships in February 2023 and specialises in waste and recycling policy, business case development and modelling.

Before joining Local Partnerships, Louise was founder and director at a small environmental and sustainability consultancy providing support to a range of public and private sector clients. During this time she worked as an Associate for Local Partnerships, and also provided strategic and analytical support to clients in the public, private and third sectors.

Louise has worked in the waste, resources and circular economy sectors since 2005 and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM), Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), and a Chartered Environmentalist.
