LGR offers local authorities both the opportunity and impetus to fundamentally change how it engages and works with those in its area. From communities themselves, to VCSE and civil society as well as local business, local authorities will need to shift to become conveners of their place, facilitating and enabling others to deliver the positive change they seek. 

This session will explore what that shift in how councils operate could look like, the key practices that councils can adopt and how this will look and play out across different levels of the council.
